An intensa snowfall left 25 cm. of powder snow on the slopes at  Valdelinares y Javalambre.

Snow started to fall the night before last and continued all day moday resulting in almost 1 metre of snow on the slopes. Under these conditions Valdelinares y Javalambre is at 100% this wkend.

Hello, we are Purin and Miguel Angel, already some years ago, we decided to buy one old half-ruined farm house, and to do  a reality  dream, that is, a restoration maintaining a truly authentic era as far as possible. The house is 200 years old,  surrounded by forests, mountains and rivers.

Its stone walls, the old floor tiles, its wood ceiling , its silent strangers, its beautiful nocturnal light and the staried sky, caused that our senses seemed to wake up in their more primitive origins. The result being that both we initiated a far from easy adventure common, but of which finally today, we can see the finished product.

La Venta masia is located in the municipality of Cedrillas (Teruel),  kilometer 3.5 of the Cerdillas to the Castellar road, coordinates GPS 30T..0682505. .UTM..4475291, at 1,335 mts alt., right in the environs of the Gúdar Mountain Range, and  only 4 km from the birth of the Mijares River, in a virgin place, surrounded by mountings filled with pine groves, in which the nature gives possibilities to us of ample benefit, and in which it is not difficult to see eagles, vultures, wild goats, partridges, hares, cows and ewes grazing calmly.

Without a doubt, silence, the tranquillity, and mainly the vision of the staried sky, we could say, that here the offer is at its maximum enchantment. The farm house with a history of but of 200 years is located in the boarder of a "Camino Real". The house has been restored maintaining as far as possible, as much its distribution as the materials, the basis of which consists  of mud and stone walls of 50 cm of thickness, which allows to support to the cold and heat in very favorable conditions.

There is  an ample entrance, of 25 Sq. meters , decorated with old furniture, an ample hall and dining room, of 50 mts sq. provided with  chimney and heating, with stone walls making it very comfortable. The kitchen is very large space  (25mts square),  completely equipped.

In first floor we find a hall  of 40 meters sq., with chimney, individual heating, sofas, armchairs, table for games and one great bookstore type library, with near 100 volumes, and  two toilets. In the same floor there are two ample dbl. bedrooms with heating, embedded closets and individual bath with a view to the mountains. On the top floor you will find another four double bedrooms, also with individual baths and views to the mountain range. From the top floor one can leave and to an outdoor ample terrace.

The house this surrounded by a very old stone fence that locks up an old corral , now restored , as an indoor patio, and barbaque area, or simply to rest and take in the sun.
